Not a Podcast

A quick hello, a few announcements, some catching up, and a general setting of the the stage for the fun to come.

In this not-episode, I talked about the return of Cast On from 9 October, and the late October premier (I do love that word) of my new podcast, Sleeping in Public.

My Patreon page, for listeners who can, and who want to support my return to full-time podcasting.

Knitty.com‘s Amy Singer showed me the ways of the speckled yarn. She’s currently knitting with Yarn, from Dyer

Thanks for listening, and I’ll talk to you soon.

Episode Whatever: Not a Podcast

about

I’m a serial maker of podcasts, and many things that are not podcasts. I love playing with yarn, fibre and cloth. I will never accept that furniture in my living room only goes two ways. Almost every night, I dream about houses.

Well now! Earlier this year I began to re-listen to your pod-casts, going back to 2005. Yep! And then I wrote you on Ravelry (August 19) and look what happened! Like the cat, you’ve come back! Good to hear you again! Can’t support you on Patreon just at the moment (3 GBP isn’t much in CAD, even with the exchange, but there are other things…) Still, I was a faithful listener, I bought “Welsh for Rainbow”…and so I am very happy you’re back doing what you do so well — knit and broadcast. 🙂

Brenda, this is such uplifting news! I have been making my way through the old episodes again and was wondering how you were. You sound great! I’m in! I have to wait until morning to find my credit card or my family will wonder why I’m making noise at 2:30 am. Our conversations have been very one-sided to date. Well, many sided considering all the people and knitting topics you have brought, but you know what I mean. Patreon will give me a chance both to pay you back and to pay it forward, plus to join the conversation in a small way. – Lisa

OMG!!! I missed you SO MUCH. No other podcast held my attention, often annoying me. I’d sigh and wish for Cast On to be back. I gave up.
Just last evening I tried a few on YouTube and was underwhelmed.
Tonight, I did a search for knitting podcasts and Lo! Reunited, and it feels so good!!!!!
    THANK YOU
